“What I enjoy most about the massage is your excellent communication skills. I learn a lot from your knowledge every time I visit, and I feel much better afterward. I particularly appreciate the cupping work and the deeper work of CranioSacral therapy. I also value the feedback you provide on my breathing, and I’ll continue to work on improving it.”

The Specialty

Therapeutic massage, built around what I find.

Every session starts by locating where tension actually lives — then releasing it with whichever of these techniques the tissue responds to.

Relaxation Massage Flowing, full-body strokes at a pressure that lets the nervous system stand down. The best choice when you are more depleted than injured.
Deep Tissue Therapeutic technique to reach deeper layers of muscle, fascia, and connective tissue, The goal is to release chronic patterns of tension, adhesions, and restrictions.
Sports Massage Pre- and post-training work on the muscles you actually use, plus range-of-motion assessment to keep small issues from becoming injuries.
Trigger Point Therapy Precise pressure on the small, angry spots that refer pain elsewhere — the reason a shoulder knot can cause a headache.
Myofascial Release Gentle, sustained stretch of the connective tissue wrapping your muscles. Frees restrictions that stretching alone will not reach.
Cupping Suction that lifts tissue instead of compressing it, increasing blood flow into stubborn areas. Marks are normal and fade within days.
Reflexology Focused work on the feet, where pressure points map to the rest of the body. Deeply calming and excellent if you are on your feet all day.
Prenatal Massage Side-lying, fully supported positioning for the low back, hips and legs — safe, comfortable work through every trimester.
Hot Stone Heated basalt stones warm the muscle before hands do, so deeper release happens with less pressure.
Lymphatic Drainage Very light rhythmic strokes that move stagnant fluid toward the lymph nodes. Reduces swelling and supports recovery.
CranioSacral Therapy Subtle holds at the skull, spine and sacrum that release restriction in the central nervous system. Profoundly quieting.
Assisted Stretch I move you through the ranges you cannot reach alone — table-based stretching that restores mobility and makes the massage work last.

Every technique above is priced purely by time — $45 / 30 min, $90 / 60 min, $135 / 90 min, $180 / 120 min — and can be combined within one appointment.

CranioSacral Therapy

Profound systemic release

CranioSacral Therapy works through extraordinarily light touch — as little as five grams of pressure — to engage the membranes, cerebrospinal fluid and connective tissue surrounding your brain and spinal cord.

That system has its own rhythm, a subtle tide cycling four to seven times a minute, and it carries information about the whole body: restrictions, old compensations, held tension. My job is to listen for where that rhythm stalls, and give the tissue the space to let go on its own terms.

Nothing about it is forceful. Most clients describe it as floating — and then notice, a day or two later, that something they had stopped noticing has quietly changed.

Often helps with

Lymphatic Drainage

The body's hidden detox system

Your lymphatic system is the body's primary waste-clearing and immune network — a web of vessels and nodes that collects fluid, neutralizes pathogens and returns everything to circulation. Unlike blood, it has no pump. It moves only when you move, or when someone moves it for you.

Lymphatic drainage uses very light, rhythmic strokes just beneath the skin, because the vessels are superficial and delicate — too much pressure collapses them and does nothing. Done correctly, it feels almost impossibly gentle.

The effects reach past detox: less inflammation, less swelling, better circulation, improved range of motion, and noticeably faster recovery after surgery, illness or hard training.

Especially valuable for
Post-surgical swelling Post-illness recovery Puffiness and water retention Chronic inflammation Immune support Athletes in heavy training

Exercise Prescription

Bodywork that holds, because you move differently

Massage releases the restriction. What keeps it from coming back is how you move for the other 167 hours of the week — so this session is the training side of the same problem.

We start with a movement screen to find where the chain is compensating. From there you get a short, specific program built for your body, your equipment and the amount of time you will realistically give it.

As a certified personal trainer, I coach every exercise before you leave with it — no PDF of movements you have never performed. Available in the studio or as a virtual appointment, and multi-session packages are available — ask me for details.

You leave with

About

Ana Lucia Laufer

Licensed Massage Therapist · Certified Personal Trainer · CranioSacral Therapist

I came to bodywork through training. Years of coaching taught me that most pain isn't where people point — it's the result of how a body has been compensating, sometimes for years. So I treat the whole chain: find the restriction, release it, then give you the movement that keeps it from coming back.

Sessions are one-on-one in a private studio — no rotating therapists, no upsells, no rushing you off the table.

Questions people ask first

How long should I book? One sore area, 30 minutes. Full body or two problem areas, 60. Longstanding tension, 90 or 120.
What should I wear? Whatever's comfortable. You undress only to your comfort level and stay draped throughout.
Will it hurt? Deep work can be intense, never unbearable. I check pressure as we go and adjust immediately — say the word.
How often should I come? For an acute issue, weekly until it settles. For maintenance, most clients land on every three to four weeks.
